"Many hands make short work!" (He and Audrey were cleaning up the table after making candy corn catapults)
"Big Daddy says I'm the only kid he knows who doesn't worm and wiggle when the horse bites the apple." (He was trying to tickle my knee then asked me to tickle his knee) Dade quickly chimed in that it's "squirm and wiggle."

The Lake.
A few weeks ago we rode out to the lake where my parents are building a lakehouse. The boys found a tree to climb (who would have imagined that?!). Audrey wanted a chance on the "giraffe tree" so I boosted her up. Wyatt was busy hunting for treasures in the dirt.
Life with an artist...
She is ALWAYS creating, ALWAYS crafting, ALWAYS coloring and I am learning to LOVE when my table, or her floor or the living room {or all three at once} look like this!
Kids' Nights Out
Audrey and Daddy -- Olive Garden and frozen yogurt
Wyatt and Tommy being silly before Audrey's night out

Twelve!
{11.23} Tommy and I celebrated our 12th anniversary on Sunday! I was actually able to surprise him! I bought tickets for Saturday evening for us to see Fiddler on the Roof at a local theatre. We had dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, Dudley's, before the show. Luke left this sweet note for us on our bathroom counter when we got home Saturday night. Tommy surprised me with a beautiful diamond necklace and earring set. I would have never guessed 12 years ago where we would be but I am so thankful for what God has done and how greatly He has blessed us and am excited about our many years to come!

Ribbon cane.
Dr. Ford put the kids to work and they never knew it! He told them they could run through this patch and pull the dead parts off the stalks - something that he does before he harvests the cane.
In our front yard...
The dogs were barking like crazy. Dade looked out front to see what the commotion was all about and saw four horses in our front yard! The kids tried to feed them some dried grass clippings but the horses did not want us too close. After we waited a while and no one seemed to be looking for them the boys took off down the road where they had seen horses on their running route -- they found the owners! I texted Tommy this picture; he replied that they look like they belong there! Maybe, MAYBE, one day we'll have a few of our own.
