What we've been doing...

Legos, swipe, sidewalk chalk, laundry, swinging, singing and dancing to music, playing babies, building words, laundry, schoolwork, reading, bowling, Wild Kratts, fishing, football, science experiments, putting Christmas decorations away, playing with Ranger, and enjoying our days together! We hope your year is ending well!

Homemade granola.

I used this recipe but tweaked it... I omitted the oat bran and wheat germ, added 1/4 cup ground flax seed, only used sunflower seeds, slivered almonds and walnut pieces, 1 tsp salt, 1 cup of dried bananas, 1 cup dates and 1 cup cranberries.

2nd time's a charm.

We attempted to go look at lights early in the week. When we were only a few miles from home, Wyatt got sick so we had to turn around. Later in the week we got the kids cozy in their pj's with hot chocolate in hand and headed out again... success! We had a great time! Wyatt kept saying, "DADDY!" When Tommy would look at him, he was pointing at lights he wanted to make sure his Dad saw! Audrey kept saying, "I want that yard!" Luke was quick to point out to her that the yards do not come prelit!
