STILL swimming!

The boys swam from the time we arrived on Saturday until bedtime (minus the time spent riding bikes and playing baseball) and ALL day on Sunday. This is a picture from Sunday night when they were shriveled but still swimming!

I went up to check on the girls... Emma told me Audrey was reading a book to her babies and she was tidying up. What girls!

The kids and I made our way down to the edge of the pond the other day to meet up with Gran for blackberry picking. It was a spur-of-the-moment idea I had so none of us were dressed appropriately... I have been accustomed to the picking we did in Houston (the vines were thornless)! But we all had a GREAT time and came home with enough berries to eat and make dessert with!

The weather COULD NOT have been more perfect for the day! The kids did not get to enjoy everything they had to offer so we're already planning to go back next year! And even with over 5000 people in attendance, we managed to see friends from church, our homeschool group and from high school!

Mother's Day.

I was treated to a lovely Mother's Day this year! Tommy and the kids made taquitos for breakfast, the kids had made me some very sweet cards, and I got TWO Francesca Battistelli CDs, a notepad and pen, and a bracelet! We made it to church -- Wyatt had had fever for several days so he sat with us during the service. My mom fixed a delicious lunch, and we rested the rest of the afternoon.

The boys' new bikes were ready today!

My friend, Jennifer, planted a seed. From her idea and generosity, a desire sprouted in me to plant more seeds -- in my family and in someone else's as well (thanks, Jennifer!). I always love new ways to help my family and me implant God's Word into our hearts. Since I did not win her giveaway of the Seeds family worship CD, I ordered one for us and will be giving away the other on our blog!
