Luke: "Wyatt, you smell good like MelMel."

First fall ball practice.

His own cleats!

He IMMEDIATELY ran to the field and ran the bases to try them out!

Initialed by Audrey.

Audrey put her initials on her lid all on her own!

Wyatt to Tommy while putting on his new, red cleat...

Wyatt to Tommy while putting on his new, red cleats : "Dad, I know I'm awesome!"

Luke is EIGHT!!!

He asked for biscuits, sausage and bacon for breakfast, Cici's for lunch and chicken pot pie for dinner. He lives with his baseball glove on. Ask him anything about the Rangers and he will probably know it. Luke is always writing me sweet notes. He has THE BEST laugh especially when he's watching a movie or show.

Bedhead...

What does it matter what you're hair looks like when you've got such a sweet face?!

Battle zone.

Our protectors.

Our protectors.

Home.

Your kitchen cabinets don't have disassembled Legos hidden inside them?!

Words of Wyatt.

"No problem my lady" after I tell him thank you.

"Home, sweet home" or "welcome home everbody" when we pull into the garage.

Luke helping Tommy get the field ready. Wyatt says it's his baseball field and keeps asking Tommy if he will coach him!

A visit with Mimi.

Summertime fun!

A warrior is always prepared.

{Go}4th celebration!

We went to Round Top for a reunion with the Goforth families. The kids stayed in the pool most of the time. The morning that we left, the boys realized they could put the swim board in front of the diving board, jump on it and "surf" momentarily before they fell in. Pictures of the "games" to come...

This is what a rough life looks like...

lounging in a pool, eating pizza, and watching the Rangers.

Out to practice.
