Little Mommy.
Audrey loves to take care of her babies. I found her on the trundle bed feeding one of her dolls.

She put her babies in the crib and climbed in to "nap" with them.
Gym party.
After the boys' 10:30 and 11:30 games on Saturday, we went to a birthday party at Cypress Gymnastics. This was Audrey's first time to get to run around with all the big kids... she was smiling the entire time!
Goforth Get-together.
Tommy's Aunt and Uncle, Donna and Ed invited all the Houston Goforths over for dinner last Monday night. When the kids arrived, they each had a notecard with their name on it attached to a string. They followed their string throughout the house until they found their surprise at the end... so much fun! The boys got nerf guns and Audrey got a new doll. We had a great time catching up with everyone over dinner and dessert!
D-Day?

I go back to the doctor this Wednesday for my 36 week appointment. Unless I have the baby before February 9th, we have scheduled a 38-week "induction" for that morning. I, of course, am still hoping and praying that this baby will come in January!

Twenty one.
At 21 months, Audrey has a new favorite word -- "no" and an aversion -- sleep (day or night). She has also added "want that," "want more," "right there," "mine," "where go?" and "juice" to her word list. In the past week or so she has started saying "whoa" over and over again. Babies, books and baths are still her main loves. If her brothers irritate her, she does not hesitate to let them know by screaming and occasionally pinching them (this has necessitated her introduction to time-outs). She asks to sit on my bathroom counter so she can go through my make-up case and put eyeshadow on her face and now likes for me to put her hair in pigtails. We have made two trips out of the house without a diaper and have made it back home with dry pants!
I am anxious to see how she does once the baby arrives... though she is perfectly content roaming the house and entertaining herself, she also still wants to be held or in my lap when she is tired or upset. Now that the pack-n-play is set up, she has taken some diapers from the organizer and practiced putting them on her Madame Alexander doll. There is no doubt she will be a big helper and a fabulous big sister!

School.
Dade started his new curriculum (My Father's World 1st grade) when we got back from being out of town. I modify it a little for Luke so he can work with us. Audrey has started asking to use the alphabet magnets and arc... she matched up most of these on her own!
Luke is working on writing all his letters.
Dade got a "Biscuit" book from Nana and PaPa for Christmas and can already read all 140 pages by himself. Co-op started back this past Monday; Dade is taking Galloping the Globe, Family Math, and Artistic Pursuits. He made a penguin out of clay this week and a small "jar" at home last week using his dad's hand built pottery as inspiration (will post the pictures soon).

2010.
We stopped at Jack and Erinn's on our way home New Year's Day to eat lunch and let the kids play. The three big kids built a "house" with some old boards, limbs and hay then made their way into the mud while the three little girls played inside. (Audrey wanted to join in for pictures).
