Lego Luke.
I subscribed to the Lego magazine for the boys a couple of months back. EVERY time we checked the mail they would ask if it had arrived. They poured over each page as soon as they got it in their hands. Luke took some inspiration from the other kids featured and put together this boat that would carry his legoman and his dirtbikes. More creations to come...
To Grandmother's House...
Football Pics.
A fellow flag football dad has taken some pictures at the previous games and shared them with all of us. Take a close look at #15 on the first page... Dade is on the ground and the culprit who caused an uproar at the Daingerfield game is to the right with a mischievous look on his face.

Play Day.
I thought we were going to meet our homeschool group at the Discovery Science Place on the 3rd but realized I had gotten the dates incorrect. There was only one other family there (who happen to also homeschool and have kids about the same ages as ours) -- the kids had a grand time as always!
Dade putting out fires.
Cousins.
Matt, Susan, Benjamin and Alexander came for a quick visit earlier this month. Sadly, these are all the pictures I took of the kids playing together!
Dade and Benjamin.
Sweet Alexander.

They dug these "weapons" out of the basement -- a caulk gun and tiki torches.
At one point I looked out to see Dade on the ground pretending to be hurt with Luke standing guard above him pointing the caulk gun at Christopher who was closing in on them with a tiki torch.

Wyatt at 7 months.
Wyatt had a busy 7-month week. In the span of a week this is what he started doing...
He learned to blow raspberries and give pudge. He pulled himself up from sitting to his knees. He started transferring objects from one hand to the other. He rolled from his back to his stomach. He pushed himself from crawling position to sitting up. He began to get a little stranger anxiety and reach for me more often. He feeds himself little bits of food from his tray and holds onto the food teether to eat from it.
I am sure this coming month has a lot in store for the WB.

Little Lady.
My sister-in-law, Susan took some beautiful pictures of Audrey while she was here last week... click here to see them! THANK YOU, SUSAN!

Our Texas Rangers.
08.28.10 I got tickets for Tommy and I to go to a Rangers game for his birthday. We split the kids up and sent two with each set of grandparents -- Dade and Luke with Gran and Big Daddy, Audrey and Wyatt with Nana and PaPa. We left from the football stadium and drove to Dallas. Before checking into our hotel, we stopped by Children's Medical Center to visit my friend, Kristin whose daughter was in ICU. (You can follow her story here.)
We had great seats in the Lexus Club level.
MercyMe put on a pregame concert outside on the lawn but since we were unable to see them from where we were standing and could hear them from our seats, we decided to watch b.p. and get something to eat. MercyMe also sang the National Anthem.
The view of the Ballpark from our seats. The Rangers lost but we still had a fabulous time!
A great glimpse of the new Cowboys stadium from the Ballpark.
From our hotel window we could see the Ballpark and Cowboys Stadium.
Flag Purple Football.
August 28, 2010 -- Dade's first flag football game in Hallsville at the Hallsville High School stadium where Tommy played and that Tommy's dad's company rebuilt a few years back. Dade is also wearing his dad's number -- 4.
Dade insists on wearing tall, black football socks which makes him easier to pick out of the group of boys.

Back To School Party.
We joined our homeschool friends for a back to school party at Kids Station. It was nice to meet some new people that we will be spending more time with in the coming months.
On the way home we stopped to get gas and saw this truck in the parking lot... Dade was excited to see his name on the side of the big rig!
