The Greats.

Visiting Mamaw and Papaw. The boys stacked Papaw's hats on his head... they all thought this was hilarious.

Audrey took some pictures with the camera.

Secretariat.

We left the little ones with my parents and took the big boys to see Secretariat.
We ate at Smashburger, let the boys pick out a book at Lifeway then headed over to get our seats... and I forgot to get a picture of them in the theater!

Gymnastics.

First day of gymnastics...

Silly Sisters.

My friend, Erica's first book has been published! We already have our copy and love it! It would make a great birthday, Christmas, or just-because gift for the little girls you know. Erica has a few book signings scheduled if you would like to meet her. You can also order a copy from Barnes & Noble or use the link on her site to order an autographed copy.

Fall fruit.

We had apple day last week -- the boys made apples with bendaroos,
and apple trees with their hands/arms and fingerprints.

They also painted with apples after we sliced them, talked about halves and quarters and counted seeds. The boys wrote sentences describing the apples while Audrey matched numbers.
Our corresponding verse was Galatians 5:22 - 23a "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control." I started a Fruit of the Spirit jar (a jam jar with Runts candy in it). When the kids show one of these actions, they earn a piece of candy from the jar.

Celebrating.

10.03.10 We drove to Monroe for my great grandmother's 96th birthday.

Audrey Humble Inzina and Audrey Caroline.A classic Audrey-look.

Five generations together. The big kids had a great time playing hide and seek with my cousin, Austin and his girlfriend, Hannah.
Luke counting while everyone else hid.
Wyatt enjoyed crawling outside in the beautiful weather.
Dade passed the time on the drive home by drawing ALL over his arm, putting stickers on the window and tearing a bandaid and sticking the pieces on his face.
Of course making crazy faces usually passes the time pretty well.

Riding.

The kids were really excited about their new bike-riding gear.

Dade Luke... don't you love the pose?!
