Inventions.
One of the classes the boys are taking this year at ELO is Inventors and Inventions. They had to choose an invention to give a presentation on. Luke chose the pencil. (Dade chose the Bowie knife). They had to make a poster and give a five minute speech on their invention. This is Luke practicing at home the night before.

Wisdom.
Luke: "whittling IS peaceful... real peaceful. If you want to take a deep breath, why don't you go whittling?"

Words from Wyatt.
While under the chair at the kitchen table playing with Luke's "Duck Duck Dynasty" toy: "I learned about cold, warm, hot, none and gray volcanoes. Remember? At the doctor's office."
As I'm holding him tonight before bed he says to me: "I love you. And I love your face. I love your nose. I love your eyebrows. I love your chin. I love your forehead. I love your eyes. I love your hair. I love your mouth. I love your tongue. I love your teeth. I love your eyebrows. I love your arms. I love your hands. I love your fingers. I love your legs. I love your feet. I love your eyebrows. I love your shirt. I love your pants." And a few moments later, "Mom, I wish I had schoolwork."

While Dade was at his guitar lesson...
We explored the bell tower,
walked through the tunnel, and discovered plants, trees and their seeds on the LeTourneau campus.
Our Chef,
making his perfect bowl of homemade cinnamon banana oatmeal. When has asked me how much oatmeal to put over the banana, I told him that I just "eyeball it" and explained to him what that meant. Of course, he already knew what it meant -- "the Pioneer Woman does that, too," he said!
At Josh's party...
Family, swimming, hamburgers, hot dogs, Dallas Cowboys cake, cotton candy and an inflatable obstacle course... what a day!
Hi ho, hi ho it's off to work they go!
Off for a morning with Dad to look at a building site for a custom home he is about to start.
My window washers!
