Thankful...

Our first Tree of Thankfulness. The kids really enjoyed thinking of what to write on their leaves. Thanks, Erica for this great idea!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU ALL! We are grateful for your love and friendship.

Coconut.

When Tommy goes to the grocery store, he usually comes home with something fun. Once again, he did not fail to "produce!" After drinking some coconut milk, the boys hammered it open, tried a bite and then put the shell in the tub to see if it would float like a boat. Memories made...
(Black eye courtesy of mom... aren't I the best?! We were playing chase with the big boys and unfortunately when Luke stopped, we did not and their heads collided.)

Girly.

Wyatt was asleep and the big boys were gone with Tommy to Lowe's so Audrey and I dressed, fed, and put her babies to sleep. She then remembered that she needed to apply her lipstick.

THANK YOU!

We celebrated Veterans' Day with our favorite veteran, PaPa! THANK YOU to all the men and women who have and continue to serve our country! I wish I would have thought to take a picture of the cards the boys made for PaPa -- they glued army men to them and Audrey colored him a picture. Tommy and I are doing our best to instill in the kids a love and appreciation for what our troops do for us every day. When I took them to visit my grandmother's grave, they were able to see the headstones and flags placed in memory of the other Braves Ones who fought for us in the past.

I WANT OUT!

K!DZ

The boys sang at both services this past Sunday... we were so proud of them! Dade was also asked to pass the basket at the end of church. I have been trying to upload the video of them singing Jesus, you're my Superhero but cannot manage to get it to work... I will keep trying!

Our days.

I found Audrey in her room rocking her babies and bunny. A few days after this, I found her sitting in Dade's desk chair in her room with all her babies in the rocker. She had a blank notebook which she said was her Bible -- she was singing Jesus loves me and reading nursery rhymes to them.
Dade being a boy outside.
Good times at Mimi's house (Audrey's photography).

I had the boys sit back-to-back. They took turns being the leader and calling out instructions to the other on the order to put the beads on the pipe cleaner. They both listened and gave instructions very well!
Luke found a baby and mamma grasshopper.
Audrey found this HUGE frog in front of the house and quickly grabbed him up. She was making him jump and saying "ribbit, ribbit." Of course, baby two was in her other arm the whole time!

Treats!

We drove to Tyler to trick or treat with the Decker boys in Nana and Papa's neighborhood. Marine Dade fell asleep on the way there.Audrey, the bee ready to gets some treats! (I found this costume for $5 at TJMaxx!)Our first stop was to see Mamaw and Papaw.

Another classic Audrey look -- tongue rolled, head to the side, big eyes. With the Decker cousins -- Dade is a Marine, Josh (some character from Star Wars which I obviously don't know!), Luke is Optimus Prime, James with the scary White Boy, The Queen Bee and Christopher Woody.
Watching the Rangers after a long day.

A river runs through it.

The boys made a river behind the house. Luke had to try his boat out on it.

Fall Fun.

We have been crafting more days than not around here. Audrey loves to make collages. We talked about different ways that God takes good care of us. We learned that God provides our homes just like he does for animals. Here are Dade and Luke's drawings of some animals and their homes...
and a pumpkin home for the Goforths. Dade's -- "Every one has their own room. They loved it." Did you notice the bird-cloud on the top left with a fish in it's mouth?!
Luke's -- "This is a pumpkin house. The Goforth family lives here."
The boys made an airplane from scraps of wood.

The kids made pumpkins out of baby food jars. Audrey tore her paper. Luke cut his.
I need to take a picture of how they turned out... they are decorating my mantle.
