My current projects...
A dress I am working on for Audrey.
Christmas stockings -- this one will be Dade's. My mom started it, and I am trying to finish it. Hopefully it will look like the picture on the left when it is complete.

Old MacDonald had a farm... EIEIO.
We decided to take the kids to Old MacDonald's Farm this morning. They have every farm animal you can imagine, a train, a huge sand mountain, tee pees, pony rides, horse swings, play structures... the boys had the best time. And wouldn't you know, I plugged the camera in this morning to charge and left it here.
After lunch we went to a friend's house for a little while. On our way there, Dade asked me if Tommy and I could go to a meeting at church sometime and let Mr. Eric and Mrs. Courtney babysit them again -- last time Luke was exhausted from a morning of swimming and slept the night away while Dade & Eric played a video game of golf.
I took the boys to the Veggie Tales Live show yesterday. I attempted to take a picture of them with the Veggies... they decided to hide behind them instead.
Fueling up.
The church had a huge indoor play area.

What I Love.
Luke singing "On the Road Again."
When Dade is tired he will say, "I really, really, really, really, really, really, ..." (you get the picture).
When you ask Dade where he gets his muscles he says, "my Dad and God."
The boys make sure we notice yellow caution deer signs and tell us to be on the lookout for deer.

Wedding Card
Last night, Dade went with me to Target. When we were on the card aisle, Dade found a "Just Married" card and asked me what it said. After I told him what it meant, he asked me if he could buy it for Tommy and me because he didn't get us a card when we got married. How thoughtful!

Take a hike, Ike. Don't mess with TEXAS!
All is well here. God is good. We had plans to be out of town this past weekend, so we left Thursday afternoon. It took us about two hours longer to get to North East Texas than it normally would have. Thankfully, I had filled up the van on Wednesday and found a station down the road to top us off before we left. Friday morning we headed over to Lake O' The Pines with my dad and got some ski time in. My parents lost electricity on Saturday around noon. We lit candles, cooked dinner on the grill, and learned to play Rook. Very fun! We drove back yesterday; our house and yard are fine. A tree was blown over and the fence was leaning, nothing more. Our electricity, water and gas are working. However, the phone (and internet) are not working... thank you to whoever invented Wi-Fi. The line at Randalls was out the door yesterday when we drove by. Tommy left with the boys last night to fill up the van but everything was closed. He did find a station on his way to work this morning that had gas, electricity and NO lines wrapped around the block. The kids and I headed over around eight to fill up the van and were able to pick up a couple gallons of milk (that will probably only last us until tomorrow evening!). I came across a little market that had some things we needed. I just happen to bring my mom's bread machine back with us, so we got some yeast, and Dade and I are making our first loaf of homemade bread. The boys enjoyed spending the morning in Tommy's neighborhood helping him put signs back up. I will try to get some pictures up soon.

Photo Update
Dade -- I'm not quite sure what the face is all about, but the outfit is classic Dade.
Luke -- trying to hide from the camera because he didn't want a picture taken.
Audrey -- I missed my chance today to take a picture of her up on her hands & FEET! She looked like she was about to bear crawl. I almost started crying.
